Young London

I was surprised when I have found the official site of Mayor of London for Teens/Kids/Adults. I was thinking that this will be some boring website with graphs, diagrams and other things. But it is not! Check it out here.

It is already December, but we still have few quite warm( if you can call 14 degrees warm...) days. So I have decided to go to Richmond Park which is only few minutes walk from KU campus. I was planing on doing some photos but my camera broke so I was left with just one image. So on this one you have trust me, it is a perfect place for a walk/job or cycling, just set your iPod on some nice tunes and enjoy life.

Oxford St = traffic-free today

The insane shopping is still on!
Millions of people, jammed streets etc, so someone very "bright" decided to close Oxford Street so people can shop and walk on the street, so much fun! There was just one very but very small problem, the traffic jam in that area was biggest ever. Well the good thing is that this was just one day event. Waiting 1 h in the bus is no fun....

Bank of England

Hmm... It wasn`t my desired place to go but I was working with temp agency just a minute walk to Bank of England so I decided to see what they "have". After visiting few boring rooms there is something for everybody, little bit of history, some ancient coins, or gold bar challenge ( Can you lift it with one hand? ) So if you have some extra time and are in the City, it is good think to visit this place.

Shopping in London

Well, it is Christmas time, so I decided to do my shopping, being stupid I went to do it at Oxford Street today. I have NEVER seen so many people in one place, to walk from Oxford Circus to Bond street it took me about 20 min. So if you plan on doing Christmas shopping, how about you go and use Ebay and safe yourself few hours of being in the crowd?

Leicester Square ODEON

I was lucky and got the tickets for Casino Royale(well not so lucky to get them for World Premiere but one week later is not bad :P) at the main Odeon. The movie can be describes, as fantastic, refreshing etc, what do you think? Take a look at the trailer and if you like it(and I think you will) then go and book your ticket. Have fun, but be prepare to spend about 3 hours in the movie theatre, and of course some time to but the ticket... it will be crowded.

iMAX

There are just a few things that you can`t experience on the internet. Well, you can`t smell websites... and you can`t enjoy 20m x 27m screen, that will allow you to see 3D pictures :) Sounds interesting? If yes then go to iMAX cinema in central London. Take a look at what they have to offer at their page. And you can also watch some extras on LondonTV. Go to Entertainment in the menu. Enjoy!

Big CHILL...

Well, this one is maybe not the cheapest bars in London, but definetely one of the best. ABSOLUT ICEBAR LONDON is located in the heart of Mayfair. First the bad news, if you want to visit it - book it ! I booked the place 2 weeks in advance, but it was worth it. The place is just amazing, ice sculptures, ice tables, ice glasses, and NASA-style suit that you need to wear. Visit their website for more information.
